Why Dis-ease?

Wikipedia says, "A disease is a particular abnormal condition that negatively affects the structure or function of all or part of an organism, and that is not due to any immediate external injury."

Yes. This makes sense. This is what we doctors do, we diagnose the disease and treat accordingly.

But what if pronouncing the word "disease" incorrectly changes our perspective on how we view illness?

What if we say "dis-ease" and contemplate our bodies in their natural state of "ease." There is something new and fresh in this mispronunciation. We can begin to think about what is disrupting the innate ease and balance our bodies are supposed to be in.

I believe our bodies are trying get back to the natural state of ease and we must examine what is going on in our world and our surroundings to uncover what is causing our state of dis-ease.
